With aThe Legend of Zeldamovie announced, fans have already been speculating on who will be filling which roles. Amidst the lively conversation, Patricia Summersett, who voices Zelda inTears of the Kingdom, has stated that she would love to return to her role in the upcoming movie.

In aninterview with GamesRadar+, Summersett reveals just how attached she has grown to her role since she voiced inBreath of the Wild. Though she’s voiced the princess in three games already, includingHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, she claims she “could always take more of it.” Of course, this doesn’t mean that her return has been confirmed in the upcoming movie, as the cast list has yet to be revealed.

Earlier this year, there were rumors that aThe Legend of Zeldamovie is in the works courtesy of Illumination.The rumors were proven false, though they did correctly predict that Nintendo is working on adapting its highly successful franchise.

Themovie is being directed byMaze Runner‘s Wes Ball, and it will be produced byPikmincreator Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad who is chairman of Arad Productions Inc. Somewhat surprisingly, the film is receiving financing from Sony Pictures Entertainment, though more than 50% will be financed by Nintendo.

With no DLC planned forTears of the Kingdom, the announced movie is something for fans to look forward to if they’re searching for their next big dose ofZelda. No release date has been given yet.
