TheRE4 Remake Separate WaysDLC is a shorter, more compact story campaign. Many of the grindier aspects of the original needed to be pared down to fit into such a smaller package. Before, you may have searched around to locate many of the original’s “Small Keys.” But with theSeparate WaysDLC, there’s a different way to get Small Keys to open locked drawers.
If you desire to open up locked drawers and free them of their precious loot, I suggest youdon’t skimp on doing requests. The Merchant has put in some more requests, and you’re going to need that Spinel to get that hidden treasure.
Where to get small keys to open locked drawers inSeparate WaysDLC
I mentioned Spinel, so you may know where we’re heading with this.To get Small Keys, you need to spend Spinel at the Merchant’s shop, which opens up in Chapter 2. You’ll start finding keys for sale right away. They start off fairly cheap; it’s a mere two Spinel for your first Small Key. you’re able to purchase more keys as the story progresses, and they increase in price by one Spinel each. You can also earn Spinel from defeating certain enemies, such as the knights.
Where to find locked drawers
Since there are so few locked drawers to spend Small Keys on in theSeparate WaysDLC, they’re a bit hard to spot. Luckily, it’s much easier if you purchased a treasure map from the Merchant. Whenever you enter a new area, open the map and look for a treasure symbol with an exclamation point next to it. Hovering your cursor over the icon should read “Locked Treasure.” Make your way to this point in the map, and you’ll find yourself a locked drawer.
The locked drawers contain lovely treasures. You can find gold bars and jewelry, which you can exchange for pesetas at the Merchant’s shop.
