When Ifirst heard wordof a newRed Factiongame, I wasn’t too excited. I absolutely adored the firstRed Faction, but the second one destroyed my love for the series (plus, it doesn’t help thatRed Faction 1doesnotstand the test of time). After reading Nick Chester’spreview ofRed Faction 3, I got excited, but I was still a little skeptical.
This new previewfrom IGNhas me completely excited for the game now. The big changes to the series look so good: the third-person view, open-world exploration and real-life destruction physics have put the game on my radar. My only question now is whether I’ll still have the ability to just make endless tunnels to nowhere, like in the first game.
