While you might be hyped up for the upcoming launch ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, there are still games likeWarzoneto play right now. In fact,Warzoneis hosting its annual teaser event for the upcoming game in the Shadow Siege limited time event.
WarzoneShadow SiegeMW3limited time event, explained
Players have the chance to tease the upcoming lore and story ofMW3through theWarzoneShadow Siege event. How it works is there’s a special game mode for players to check out for a limited time, known as the Operation Rogue Arsenal event.
Players only have until July 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. PDT to play through this unique multiplayer game mode. While the event is live, players who participate have the chance to earn some free exclusive rewards.
How to complete each Operation Rogue Arsenal phase
Operation Rogue Arsenal is a 32-player game mode that is fully cooperative with respawns. There are no battle royale-style last soldier or team standing mechanics here; everyone is on the same team. Your goal is to survive, help your squad, and complete three phases of the match against the new Konni Group threat fromMW3.
Taking place on the Al Mazrah map, players drop in with eight missile silos on the map. Your job in the first phase is to capture all eight of the silos, which will decimate Zaya Observatory and change the layout of the map.
In the second phase, your goal is now to infiltrate the Konni underground lab where the observatory used to be. It is toxic there, so players have to find gas masks and use them to survive long enough to find a grand total of 45 gas canisters across the 32 players. Once you have one, extract it to the marked helicopter transport location.
In the final phase of Operation Rogue Arsenal, the toxic gas from the facility will start to cover all of Al Mazrah bit by bit. You’ll have an extraction location marked randomly on the map, which you must reach and escape from before it’s too late.
Shadow Siege event rewards, explained
While the event is going on, there are six total rewards you’re able to get from Shadow Siege. Note that they are exclusive to this limited-time event, so if you miss out, you won’t be able to get them again.
