Hitting Japanese arcades first in April, then consoles

There was some concern about the state ofUltra Street Fighter IVafterCapcom saidthe game wasn’t where it needed to be back in October. Today, the company gave us something to go on in the way of release information —USFIVwill debut in arcades in Japan this April, followed by digitally-distributed console versions in North America and Europe after that point butbeforeEVO 2014, which is scheduled for July 11-13, 2013.

“I agree that it’s a little ways away butUltrawill be everything our fans have requested and more than they expected,” Capcom’s Peter “ComboFiend” Rosas wrote. “We’ve been working hard to ensure that this is indeed the most openly influenced version ofSFyet. Just on Capcom-Unity alone there was well over 20,000 comments that we had to go through to make sure that the most beneficial changes made it in, while also pleasing the fans. That takes work people!”
