For two weeks this summer, 360 and PS3 users will have the opportunity to play throughFar Cry 3‘s multiplayer beta. Ubisoft has detailed some of what you can expect. Up to 16 players can merrily shoot the crap out of each other in one of six playable classes. Various modes and maps will be available, including Firestorm mode, where one team attempts to douse the other’s base in gasoline. Pyromaniacs rejoice! Hundreds of upgrades and customization options will also be shown off, so plenty to do for the tinkerers out there.
It’s a closed beta, so invitation only, unfortunately.
