This news follows several leaks and rumors aboutMirage. This morning, artwork started to leakout around social media, reportedly leakedfrom Ubisoft’s own store.
Details ofAssassin’s Creed Miragehadalready been leaking out prior, including the name and other details. It seems likely to be the projectreported on by Bloombergearlier this year.

A new creed
If the reports are true, then the game will purportedly follow Basim fromAssassin’ Creed Valhallaand target sometime next year.
Either way, theAssassin’s Creed 1vibes from this artwork do seem pretty interesting. The lastAssassin’s CreedwasValhallaitself, which was released in 2020 and received a number ofpost-launch content updates.

We do seem just about due for anotherAssassin’s Creed. Meanwhile, several other Ubisoft projects are on the horizon.
Skull and Bones, namely, isfinally looking to set sail in November. The pirate ship combat sim has been in development for a while, and it’s nice to see it finally get out there.

The publisher also recently shuttered several projects, includingSplinter Cell VRandGhost Recon Frontline. TheAvatargame from the company has also been delayed out of 2022, and is currently targeting fiscal year 2023.
Ubisoft Forward seems like an ideal time for the publisher to lay out its new schedule, after so many shifts. We’ll see what they have in store next week when the Forward airs.
