I’m kind of played out on Attack on Titan, for real

Indie developer Puppygames’Titan Attacks!was released yesterday for PS4, PS3, and Vita, and it’s a peppy throwback shooter that you should pay attention to. Incorporating a smart retro aesthetic with addictive combos and tight mechanics, it reminds me a bit of Arkedo’sBig Bang Mini, only a lot less ornate.

It’s more than it appears to be, with high scores awarded to players to rack up combos and make more skillful shots over those who prefer to simply wing it and shoot everything that moves. Gameplay is skewed toward individuals customizing their own experiences, but that doesn’t mean you can’t just unload a fresh batch of bullets and copious amounts of lasers on the competition.
