As if the range of things people do withTeam Fortress 2wasn’t already expansive enough, now there’s a mod in the works which transforms the game into a aerial combat exercise featuring ships and graphical elements that bear no small resemblance to Nintendo’sStar Foxgames.
The mod, called “Star Fortress,” is still in development and being worked on byGray Mann Gaming, a group which runs a series of TF2 servers with assorted mod games. The above footage represents what is described as “pre-alpha” content, and further updates on the mod’s progress are expected to be delivered throughtheir Steam group.
Looks neat, and if Nintendo can’t be bothered to put an Arwing back on my big screen and let me shoot my friends, it’s nice to see someone else pick up the charge.
