Not content with just three separate zombie subseries fromThe Walking Dead(and one spinoff), Telltale has announced that it will publish7 Days to Die, an “open world survival game” that also involves elements of FPS, tower defense, RPGs, and horror.
The trailer is live action and doesn’t really give us a whole lot of in-game insight, but it should provide the basic gist, in that crafting, loot, and character progression is a go. It’s also alreadyon PC in Early Access form, so there’s plenty of information out there already.
7 Days to Diewill hit the PS4 and Xbox One in June for $29.99. Pre-ordering will net you fiveWalking Deadskins, including Michonne and Lee. New multiplayer modes, including split screen local play, are being added to the console edition, with DLC to follow.
