No two worlds are alike inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder, and nothing proves this more than World 4: Sunbaked Desert. Many levels here are hidden completely from players, leaving you explore the overworld just to find them all.
For many of these levels, you simply just have to walk to their locations in the desert to make them appear. Others require clearing nearby levels or uncovering a secret exit. There are 36 Wonder Seeds in total to find in World 4 ofSuper Mario Bros. Wonder, and you’ll need all of them if you want to achieve 100% completion in the game.
To help you out,here is where you can find every level in Sunbaked Desert, in the order that they appear in your course list. You’ll also find unlock conditions listed for every hidden level, so use this list to get every Wonder Seed and Flower Coin you can. Good luck!
Armads on the Roll
You’ll reveal Armads on the Roll by walking near its location in the Sunbaked Desert as seen in the image above.
The Desert Mystery
You’ll reveal The Desert Mystery by walking near its location in the Sunbaked Desert as seen in the image above.
Rolling-Ball Hall
The Rolling-Ball Hall stage is hidden behind a door in that will open when you step over three stone squares sitting in the Sunbaked Desert. You can find them at the locations below:
Ninji Jump Party
To find this level, travel through the sand waterfall to the north of the Oasis on the Sunbaked Desert map. You’ll pass right through and see the Ninja Jump Party stage appear.Completing this stage will unlock theRhythm JumpBadge.
Bloomps of the Desert Skies
You’ll reveal Bloomps of the Desert Skies by walking near its location in the Sunbaked Desert as seen in the image above.
Valley Fulla Snootles
No special unlock conditions are necessary for reaching Valley Fulla Snooties in the Sunbaked Desert.
Color-Switch Dungeon
No special unlock conditions are necessary for reaching Color Switch Dungeon in the Sunbaked Desert.
Secrets of Shova Mansion
Secrets of Shova Mansion has a secret exit! You’ll need to find this second exit to unlock the levels to the north of the level and collect all the Wonder Seeds in the Sunbaked Desert.
Flight of the Bloomps
You’ll need to find the secret exit inSecrets of Shova Mansionto uncover the Flight of the Bloomps level in the Sunbaked Desert.
Badge Challenge: Parachute Cap II
You’ll reveal the Parachute Cap II Badge Challenge by walking near its location in the Sunbaked Desert.
Badge Challenge: Crouching High Jump II
No special unlock conditions are necessary for reaching the Crouching High Jump II challenge in the Sunbaked Desert.
Expert Badge Challenge: Invisibility I
Finding the Invisibility I challenge in the Sunbaked Desert involves following the path unlocked by the secret exit inSecrets of Shova Mansion.
Sunbaked Desert Palace
As you’d expect, you’ll unlock the Sunbaked Desert Palace level once you collect 15 Wonder Seeds in the Sunbaked Desert.
KO Arena: Sunbaked Skirmish
No special unlock conditions are necessary for reaching Sunbaked Skirmish in the Sunbaked Desert.
Search Party: Pipe Park
You’ll reveal Pipe Park by walking near its location in the Sunbaked Desert. This is a puzzle level inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder.Check out our guide herefor tips on how to solve it.
Break Time! Treasure Vault
Complete Armads on the Rollto uncover the Treasure Vault level in the Sunbaked Desert.
Break Time! Raise the Stage
Raise the Stage is a semi-hidden level in the Sunbaked Desert. To find it, walk through the invisible path pictured below.Note where Mario’s silhouette is.
Break Time! Revver Run
CompleteRolling-Ball Hallto unlock the Revver Run level in the Sunbaked Desert.
Break Time! Floating Wonder Tokens

Secret Poplin Shop
Yes, there is a second Poplin Shop in the Sunbaked Desert. This vendor actually sells three Wonder Seeds, so you don’t want to miss it! To find it, climb the stairs to the immediate right of theBreak Time! Bouncy Tuneslevel.
Follow the path and turn left into what might appear to be a wall. This will reveal the secret passage where the Poplin Shop is located.
While this doesn’t count as a “level,” you’re able to find a secret path leading to Captain Toad in the Sunbaked Desert. To find this, move to the right of theRolling-Ball Halllevel. You’ll enter a secret path, and if you’re in the right spot, you’ll see a prompt to press the A button. Press it and you’ll enter a pipe.
You’ll find yourself back in World 3, but in a spot you couldn’t see before. Walk to Captain Toad and talk to him, and he’ll give you extra flower coins for your efforts. Don’t miss him!
Believe it or not, there’s a second hidden Captain Toad in the Sunbaked Desert as well. To the left ofSecrets of Shova Mansion, you’ll see a path leading toseeminglynowhere. Walk down this, and you’ll find you can slip under the overpasses above you.
Travel through here, and you’ll quick find a secret path leading to a pipe.
Go to the location as seen in the screenshot above, and you’ll see a prompt to press the A button. Press it, and you’ll enter into a pipe.
This will take you to a small island in World 5, where Captain Toad will await you. Talk with him, and he’ll give you 50 Flower Coins. Put that money towards Badges orStandees!
