PlayStation Steam Network

Video game fans who like to rock both PlayStation and PC platforms now have the option of creating some sort of Marriage Made in Hell, as SIE has announced that players are now able to link their PSN and Steam accounts together — The latest step in PlayStation Studios grand push to the PC platform.

Once said action has been performed, then this will open the door for the possibility of joint actions of PlayStation Studios’ upcoming gamut of PC releases. For example, players with linked accounts will receive additional skill points and two “early unlock bonuses” in Insomniac Games’Marvel’s Spider-Man, namely the “Resilient Suit” and the “Concussive Blast” weapon. Future titles ported to the PC platform could see similar bonuses, or cross-progression, or any manner of additional features.
