“Maaaaaan, Mobius sure is boring around he– URK!“
While theupcoming ArchieSonic Universestory arcrevolves Silver the Hedgehog and his Secret Freedom Fighters, the arc following that will star the OG gangsta crew, the Chaotix.The boys haven’t seen much action as a full team sinceSonic #200over three years ago, so it’s about time they get themselves back in order.Scratch that. The Chaotix were featured inSonic Universe #9-12. Nevertheless, it’s been almost three years since then.
The first part of “All for One” kicks off inSonic Universe #46, as Espio, Vector, and Charmy embark on a quest to track down their missing buddies Mighty and Ray — the two left to look for Mighty’s sister back inSonic #212(see gallery). For those of you who don’t remember, Mighty and Ray were Sonic’s co-stars in the Japan-onlySegaSonic the Hedgehogarcade game, with Mighty’s returning inKnuckles’ Chaotix. Sega likes to pretend these two don’t exist, for one reason or another — gotta make room for well-developed characters like Big the Cat and Cream the Rabbit.
“All for One” is still months away, but Archie will have more details to share on the new storyline during San Diego Comic-Con next week.
