They nailed the tone
Sega is keeping theSonic Maniatrain rolling withSonic Mania Pluslater this summer and also a five-part series of animated shorts, the first episode of which is out now on YouTube.

Much like thegame’s intro, the animation is just wonderful to look at, but more than that, I like how they kept it light and fun. You’re in, you’re out, and you’re left feeling good. There’s no baggage!
