After a bit of digging, a collective group of games media and fans were able to uncover that Microsoft only had a thirty day exclusive window to houseSkyrimadd-ons, before they could make the jump to other platforms. Naturally, a ton of fans were on Bethesda like white on rice the instant the clock struck midnight, which forced their hand.

After some prodding, Bethesda’s Pete Hines said last week, “we have not announcedDawnguardfor any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news.” But after more prodding, Hines stated“Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon.”

All in all, I don’t think you non-360 owners should be all that excited forDawnguard. It was fairly neat to roam the world as a vampire, or take them on as the noble dawnguard themselves, but the add-on brought its own share of glitches and design issues. I felt like they were setting a goal to be as ambitious asShivering Isles, but didn’t quite reach their mark.

But what does everyone else think? Should prospective PS3 and PC owners be excited to plunk down $20?
