Timed Switch exclusive?

Eager forShin Megami Tensei Vports? For now, you’ll have to get the game on Switch, but the source code shows that there could be a possibility for PC and PS4 versions at some point.

Based on the datamining efforts of Twitter user pan-hime, it seems as if the “target platforms” forShin Megami Tensei Vare PS4, Switch, and PC [Windows]. As they point out, and something that should be taken into account for every situation like this, it could be the original plan that was scrapped and remained as a remnant, or temporary data that’s meaningless. Note that this was also inthe NVIDIA leak(which has had mixed results in terms of things panning out). We’ve reached out to Atlus for clarification either way but don’t expect them to comment.

Shin Megami Tensei V ports

In any case, it stands to reason thatShin Megami Tensei Vports willeventuallyhit some other platform. The typical timed exclusive deal is one year, and they could easily plan some sort of “remixed” or GOTY bundle with allthe DLC(of which it already has a decent chunk). Or, it could arrive years from now in some other form. Point being, Atlus loves re-releasing JRPGs, and for good reason: they’re generally timeless.

Note that while Nintendo did publish the game in certain regions of Europe, Atlus handled it themselves in both Japan and North America. This isn’t aBayonetta 3situation where Nintendo is the one that has the final say.
