Developer Ys Net and publisher Deep Silver have announced a slight delay toShenmue III. Originally set to release on August 27, it’ll now launch on November 19. That’s a setback of just under three months.
In a public post onKickstarter, director Yu Suzuki and Deep Silver jointly said “Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished. We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the trueShenmueexperience players around the world deserve! We thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Just like that,Shenmue IIIhas been (fork)lifted from summer and dropped off in the late fall.
