Rockstar has finally unleashed a trailer that shows off the multiplayer ofMax Payne 3for the first time. And yes,Max Payne 3is going to have multiplayer. It was inevitable. But if it’s anything likeRed Dead Redemption‘s amazing multiplayer, I’m all about it. That doesn’t exactly seem to be the case just yet, as there doesn’t appear to be a free-roam multiplayer map. Maybe that will be announced later, who knows?
There is still a solid multiplayer experience to be had though. “Gang Wars” is a mode where you’re able to team up with your friends to take down another team in a mode that dynamically changes objectives throughout the match to keep things interesting. “Payne Killer” will let you play as Max and Raul in a horde-esque mode where you fight off waves of enemies. All I want to do is get on a horse and run people over again. That’s part of theMax Payneuniverse, right? I want it to be a thing.
