Rayman Originsprobably should have been bigger than it was. Ubisoft noted that the game was “profitable,” but refrained from calling it a rip-roaring sales success, and only pushed 50,000 units in its first month of release.
Even so, it lives on as one of the great new multiplayer platformers of our time, and you may get a chance to correct your past mistakes by playing it for free on PC. Ubisoft has announced that as part of its 30th anniversary festivities, everyone can nab the game for free on August 17 on the official Club Ubisoft site.
