The latest Nintendo Direct opened by showing off some ofPikmin 4. The trailer highlighted some of the new mechanics, the lower camera angle, and some of the exploration.
On top of the typical red, blue, and yellow Pikmin, the trailer showed off Ice Pikmin that freeze enemies and bodies of water. There’s also a dog… thing called Oatchi who will help you along. Some familiar beasts are shown off for you to hunt, such as that big grubdog that probably killed a bunch of your mates inPikmin 2.
The trailer ended with a hint that there will be other pilots joining you on the adventure. Whether co-op will make a return fromPikmin 3 Deluxeisn’t clear.
