I have mixed feelings about Overwatch’s Halloween event this year

Overwatch2gets into the Halloween spirit Halloween is indisputably the best holiday of the year, so naturally, the spookily-themed events in live service games are something I look forward to every October.Overwatchhas always had the best one in my opinion, withJunkenstein’s Revenge(and its annual iterations) being a welcome, stylish PvE switch up to the usual competitive multiplayer formula. I remember when the original Halloween event dropped inOverwatch, and from what I can recall it was the first event of its kind in the game....

If you hated building in Fortnite, the new season just got rid of it

It’ll probably come back soon enough, but enjoy the freedom for now Building inFortnitehas been turned off for the brand new season of the game, which just debuted over the weekend. The biggest change? Building is gone. And I have to say, I love it! PC-quick-building is one of the lapsed playerbase’s big pet peeves, and with this gone, the action is focused entirely on maneuvering and shooting. It would be silly to go so far as to say that it makes the game feel “fresh,” but I was able to acclimate very quickly, and even in my first game with Chapter 3 Season 2, I didn’t feel the muscle-memory urge to build....

Overwatch 2’s Totally Normalwatch is one of the games industry’s few good April Fools jokes, and it’s back once again

April Fools’ Day is generally one of the most annoying and un-funny days of the year, but forOverwatch 2fans, it’s one players greatly look forward to. The classic “Totally Normalwatch” limited-time mode has returned for April 1, turning the game’s hero pool on its head with fun ability changes in an optional Arcade mode for players to enjoy if they so choose. PS3 not being delayed in Europe; Internet needs to STFU

Listen Internet, we have a love/hate thing going on lately. While I love your ease of use, free porn, and of course ability to put food in the mouths of my 10 children, sometimes you just annoy the f*ck out of me. Such is the case with Sony news lately. Any anti-Sony rumor is sucked up faster than a porn star with rent to pay. Why? Because the Internet is full of other console fanboys looking to clog the system with their vile untrue rumors, all in the effort to make sure the PlayStation 3 and Sony is a failure — as if what they say on the Internet will ever have anything to do with real-world sales....

Retailer-exclusive amiibo may be showing up at other stores

Greninja, Shulk, and Lucario One of the worst things Nintendo ever did in terms of exacerbating the amiibo situation is make so many retailer-exclusive deals in North America. While everyone all over the world could find any amiibo in any location, the US and Canada often had to hunt at certain stores that only had a paltry few figures in stock, sometimes at multiple spots on the same day. In short, unless you had a spouse or friend who hunted for you, it was nearly impossible to get everything....
