Thirteen new releases for the week of 12/04/06

I don’t know what it is aboutKirbygames that make me love them so much. The game play always gets repetitive after the first level but I always stick with it and keep on going. The latest edition to the series looks to be no different. A ton of new power ups to eat and upgrades to some of the old power ups. It’s looking to be another killer DS title....

Tomb Raider? I hardly even know her, and it’s even harder to pick her out on account of all the Croft cosplayers at this SDCC event

When Steven writes headlines for me San Diego Comic-Con is a breeding ground for cosplay. You’ll find everything from the most amateur of outfits to the best professional-grade costumes. People really like to dress up like the things they really like. Microsoft is making a concerted effort to round up everyone who cosplays as one particular character. As promotion of sorts for temporary Xbox One exclusiveRise of the Tomb raider, Microsoft’s organized a gathering for all Lara Crofts at the show....

Toys”R”Us apparently canceling select Lucario amiibo orders…again

Give customer service a call Back in December, Toys”R”Uscanceled every Lucario amiibo pre-order(and some random Wave 2 or 3 orders). It sucked, because the figure is exclusive and they already took thousands of orders on them weeks before the cancellation. Theyseemingly made it right thoughas many orders were either re-instated a few days later, orcustomers were given a couponto get a discount off the “$999.99” placeholder to avoid scalpers picking up the rest of the stock....

You might finally beat Ninja Gaiden with Switch Online’s SP version

But probably not Ninja Gaidenon NES is pretty notorious for its difficulty. While one can typically breeze through the first four levels, the game’s back half is fairly insane with the number of enemies it throws at you. Level 6-2 is, in fact, actual hell and you can’t convince me otherwise. Very few have ever finished the final boss because it kicks you back to 6-1 upon dying. ScrewDark Souls! At least that game lets you retry bosses when you fail....
