Metroid: Samus Returns Samus Returns. And how. MercurySteam knocked it out of the park in 2017 withMetroid: Samus Returns. The Nintendo 3DS title took the 1991 Game Boy releaseMetroid II: Return of Samus, and re-envisioned it into a gorgeous, aggressive and addictive adventure for a whole new generation of players. The game takes the Game Boy’s green-screen graphics of yore and replaces them with spectacular 3D visual effects. Just the right amount of nostalgia is drip-fed through memorable music (described by our ownChris Carteras “hauntingly beautiful”), iconic weaponry, curiously familiar scenery and boss-battles past....

Ghost ride your Regalia Square Enix announced thatFinal Fantasy XV‘s car, the Regalia, would have its own radio station of sorts filled with classic tunes, but we didn’t really know to what extent. But due to a recent Active Time Report update, it’s clear that this wasn’t a half-hearted promise. 100-Turn Hero coming to iOS on January 17 Half Minute Herodirector Kotaro Yoshida has returned with a new deconstruction of the Japanese role-playing game called100-Turn Hero. Like Yoshida’s previous work,100-Turn Herosports exaggerated pixel art and limits on how much players can do within the game’s various stages. However, rather than imposing time constraints, it sounds like players will need to defeat their foes in 100 turns or less. I can dig it....

I guess we’ll have to blame Max Brooks for the whole “Z” minimalism in which the letter stands in for or otherwise denotes “zombie.” It does make parsing between the widely popularArma 2mod,Day Z, and the newly upcoming MMO,The War Z, a bit of a headache. The latter began development first, while the release of the former (and its subsequent success) has sped up development onThe War Z, which is now aiming for a late October release date....

Also announces multiplayer mode and more music Harmonix has released this trailer forDisney Fantasia: Music Evolved, highlighting a new region of the game, The Hollow, where players will bring a forest environment to life through playing songs and interacting in the world. Along with this comes some other new information, including the announcement of a cooperative multiplayer mode. Harmonix has stated that the new mode is collaborative, as players choose “remix paths” to change the playing track and introduce new beats and melodies....
