It’s official, E3 2008 will remain in Los Angeles, despite months of speculation that it could move to a new city. In an interesting turn of events, however — according to the press release Destructoid just received — the popular trade show will be moving from last year’s beach side Santa Monica location to its former home at the massive downtown Los Angeles Convention Center. This is great news for the large majority of the videogame industry who almost lost its ever-loving mind traveling from hotel to hotel on those damned shuttles during E3 2007 … but for those of you expecting a return to the over-the-top glory of days past, don’t get excited just yet....

Rangatang is formed by a crew from the core team at Ronimo, the folks behindAwesomenautsandSwords and Soldiers. Ronimo went bankrupt in 2023, withAtari scooping the rightsto their old properties. Leave it to modders Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Editionlaunched last week and finally brought the fan favorite entry to PC. While the port was perfectly competent, it did lack features that players have come to expect on the platform. In almost no time at all, famed modder Kaldaien has released a mod that improvesVesperiaon PC with those missing options. The biggest improvement has to be the removal of micro-stutter, which would happen between cutscene transitions and sometimes crop up while walking around....

Developer Giants Software has caused a surge in excitement in theFarming Simulatorcommunity by posting a teaser on Twitter for a video that will go live onJune 25, 2024, on the subject of the future of farming simulation. Fans can barely contain themselves because they think it’s a hint atFarming Simulator 25. On June 30, 2025, the officialFarming SimulatorTwitter account shared a cryptic post showingtwo Hex Codes and their respective colors. This teaser was followed up with a post for aYouTube videotitled The Future of Farming Simulator, set to premiere on July 17, 2025....

In particular, the Pair Up mechanic, which rose to prominence withAwakeningandFates. There was also a bit of detail revealed about using magic attacks. Both mechanics are pretty faithful to their original counterparts to put it bluntly. Pairing up characters occurs much like it did in the original games. Yesterday, out of nowhere, Capcom casually announced it wasremastering the originalDead Rising. While certainly exciting, it did confuse me why Capcom decided to drop this via a random Tweet instead of teasing it during Summer Game Fest. Turns out it was because it’s saving the details for its own Capcom Next showcase. You won’t have to wait long for it either since the showcase is scheduled to take place in less than a week on Monday, July 1....
