Originally scheduled to be released alongside the Xbox 360 version of the game, Microsoft has confirmed thatFable IIIfor PC won’t be seeing release on October 26. “The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we’re focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform,” a spokespersontold IGN. “We aren’t announcing a ship date for the PC SKU at this time, but expect news soon.” One has to wonder if by “building experiences optimized for each platform” it means gameplay, technical, or in terms of in-game content....

As many of you horror lovers out there will know,Phasmophobiarecently launched itsEventide update. Of the many things the patch contains, perhaps the one that caught most people’s attention was the new map: Point Hope. This lighthouse location is pretty different compared to other maps, designed to really test your mettle against the ghostly denizens that dwell within. Unlike pretty much every other level inPhasmo, this one favors verticality over lots of rooms spread out over a vast area, as is typical with the medium and large levels....

Through this, the Kinect Sensor of the Xbox One captures your face and body and makes a one-of-a-kind champion to be used in the game. Rare has created tech that sees your your face, body, hair, skin tone, and everything else, and then spits out a virtual character....

Mum’s the word Even though Sony stated that multiplayer modes wouldn’t get an advantage from the PS4 Pro’s enhancement patches, that memo must have slipped by EA and DICE, as that’s just whatBattlefield 1did. According to Digital Foundry, Pro players were offered a “tangible” performance advantage, with a smoother framerate during some of the more typically sluggish portions of multiplayer where the engine chugged. Washington DC screening I came away fromReady Player Onea bit letdown by the whole thing. The references didn’t feel right, and the film’s plot was a bit slapdash. However, according to the ol’ Rotten Tomatoes, I was in the minority, so maybe you should get a ticket. But why take the risk of spending money on something you might not enjoy when we’ve got 15 admit-two passes for a screening in Washington DC on Monday, March 26 (full details below)....
