PC gamers waiting a bit longer for Fable III

Originally scheduled to be released alongside the Xbox 360 version of the game, Microsoft has confirmed thatFable IIIfor PC won’t be seeing release on October 26. “The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we’re focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform,” a spokespersontold IGN. “We aren’t announcing a ship date for the PC SKU at this time, but expect news soon.” One has to wonder if by “building experiences optimized for each platform” it means gameplay, technical, or in terms of in-game content....

Phasmophobia: Point Hope map layout and details

As many of you horror lovers out there will know,Phasmophobiarecently launched itsEventide update. Of the many things the patch contains, perhaps the one that caught most people’s attention was the new map: Point Hope. This lighthouse location is pretty different compared to other maps, designed to really test your mettle against the ghostly denizens that dwell within. Unlike pretty much every other level inPhasmo, this one favors verticality over lots of rooms spread out over a vast area, as is typical with the medium and large levels....

Phoenix Wright has to deal with time travel in new Ace Attorney 6 DLC

First spirits, now time travel? No wonder lawyers get paid so much As if challenged to be even more crazy, the “Turnabout Time Traveler” case is now available from the in-game menu forAce Attorney 6: Spirit of Justice. It’s $5.99 / £5.39 / €5.99, which for Europeans and British people (which I can now separate) is slightly pricier than the DLC case released forDual Destinies. Also making an appearance is Larry Butz, the clumsy and ill-witted childhood friend of Phoenix and Edgeworth, the latter of whom will be serving as the prosecutor in this case....

Recent Battlefield 1 patch seemingly takes out PS4 Pro multiplayer advantages

Mum’s the word Even though Sony stated that multiplayer modes wouldn’t get an advantage from the PS4 Pro’s enhancement patches, that memo must have slipped by EA and DICE, as that’s just whatBattlefield 1did. According to Digital Foundry, Pro players were offered a “tangible” performance advantage, with a smoother framerate during some of the more typically sluggish portions of multiplayer where the engine chugged. The team noted that the Pro edition can get up to a “10-15FPS” advantage at times, which is fairly game-changing in competitive terms....

Review in Progress: Conan Exiles

Stranger in an Exiled Land Mention “Conan the Barbarian”to me and I’m more likely to think of a certain redheaded late-night comedian in cosplay than I am to think of Robert E. Howard’s iconic savage. Similarly, talk to me about “survival games” and my only real point of reference would be quite a bit of time spent withDayZback when it was a jankyArmA IImod. While this means I might not exactly be the most qualified person to tackle Funcom’s new open-world survival game based on Conan’s Hyborian-age adventures, Icantell when I’m having a good time, and that’s definitely been the case withConan Exilesso far....

See Ready Player One early and free

Washington DC screening I came away fromReady Player Onea bit letdown by the whole thing. The references didn’t feel right, and the film’s plot was a bit slapdash. However, according to the ol’ Rotten Tomatoes, I was in the minority, so maybe you should get a ticket. But why take the risk of spending money on something you might not enjoy when we’ve got 15 admit-two passes for a screening in Washington DC on Monday, March 26 (full details below)....

Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode is an interesting change of pace for the series

The Creepers will remember that Since its announcement last year, many fans of both Mojang’sMinecraftand Telltale Games were caught off guard by this union of adventure developers. The Crew 2 has such great goof-off potential

Hands-on with the closed beta While playing the new beta forThe Crew 2, I transformed my monster-truck Mustang GT into a plane, flew to the top of a snow-capped mountain, then morphed into a speedboat and slid all the way down. Why? Well, why not? There’s no shortage of pre-baked races, activities, and photo challenges, but half the fun ofThe Crew 2is simply messing around in an open-world, miniaturized, game-ified United States of America....

Find out what happens to Daud If you’re ready to jump into the world ofDishonoredyet again,The Brigmore Witchesis out now on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and you can get a taste with the above launch trailer. The story brings an end to the tale of Daud, and brings some extra context to the game, including Corvo’s place in the narrative.
