Pikmin 4 plucks out a release date of July 21

The latest Nintendo Direct opened by showing off some ofPikmin 4. The trailer highlighted some of the new mechanics, the lower camera angle, and some of the exploration. PlayStation Now might offer a subscription plan in the future

It also might not PlayStation Nowis a great idea on paper. Note that I use that phrase “on paper,” because in its current incarnation, the prices are outrageous, and the rental timeframes aren’t particularly ideal (the lowest ranges go from four hours to seven days — where is the reasonable three-day option, which is how long it takes to beat most games?). There also aren’t any current plans for PS1 and PS2 games to appear on the service, despite the fact that Sony initially announced them as part of the program....

Review: Tilt Brush

Look like an idiot, create art I have never had any artistic ability; I am more of a wordsmith than a visual creator. Something about taking in 3D data with my eyes, processing that down to a 2D image, then getting my hands to replicate that onto a screen or sheet of paper just doesn’t work well. Tilt Brush, a 3D art program that releases for free with the HTC Vive this week, made me feel like I could finally create art....

Silent Hill 2 remake Easter egg pokes fun at the game’s dumbest moment

The long-awaited remake ofSilent Hill 2is finally out and, aside from a few shortcomings, provides more than enough to shut up even its most cynical skeptic:me. The newSilent Hill 2is gorgeously faithful to the original and more than honors its beautifully harrowing story. With so much reverence at play, it should come as no surprise that it even pays homage to the most accidentally iconic moment in the series. If you’re into the franchise, you’ll know about the infamousSilent Hill HD Collectionfrom 2012....

Take a gander at how broken Max Brass is in ARMS

You can’t spell Brass without ass ARMS‘ new DLC character will be joining the fray this month and to get us all hyped, Nintendo of Japan has uploaded a new sizzle reel for the godly final boss. I’m still not quite sure how he is balanced, because he definitely looks overpowered. He’ll certainly be an opponent you’ll come to fear. I also believe we’re getting a look at a new arena to battle in, though it mostly seems like a flat ring....

TGS 09: Final Fantasy XIV trailer is dramatic!

I’m so the last guy to post aboutFinal Fantasystuff, but I really dig the music in the trailer so deal with it. The trailer gives you a basic plot overview of the game and shows off the fantastic looking graphics. I’m so used to seeing MMOs look like complete ass that I was actually suprised by what I saw in the trailer. Unless of course everything in this trailer is CG....
