Includes previously arcade-only Battle Royale
Pac-Man Museum, released today on Steam, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade, caught my eye this morning. It was my first time hearing about the game and the $19.99 price stood out. What could a compilation like this possibly include to warrant charging so much?
Pac-Man Battle Royale— that’s what. The four-player game is finally playable outside of arcades and you don’t need me to tell you it’s a real treat. Other featured titles include:Pac-Man,Pac-Mania,Pac & Pal,Pac-Land,Super Pac-Man,Pac-Attack,Pac-Man Arrangement, andPac-Man Championship Edition(as well asMs. Pac-ManDLC for free prior to March 31). I’ve never played some of these, which is what I look for in a collection of re-releases.
Chris says he’s got a copy for review, so we’ll see. The user reviews on Steamhave been brutal.
