Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

The tweet’s likely a response to a third party program calledRemote Play PCthat launched a while ago. As the developer is charging about £6 for the program, which isn’t official or endorsed by Sony, chances arePC Remote Playwon’t last for long following this announcement.

Still, it’s nice that it seems to have given Sony the kick up the arse they needed to get the remote play ball rolling officially. There’s no confirmed date, nor any further information about how exactly it’ll work, but we know it’s coming now.
