Sorry, third-party programs
Have you ever gazed longingly at the Xbox One’s ability to stream games to a PC? Have you ever wished your PS4 could do the same thing, wished to be taken into the sweet embrace ofinFamous: Second SonorMetal Gear Solid Vstreamed onto your PC monitors in another room?
Well you may thank Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida for making all of your dreams come true, as he hasconfirmed via Twitterthat it is something that is in the works:

Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

The tweet’s likely a response to a third party program calledRemote Play PCthat launched a while ago. As the developer is charging about £6 for the program, which isn’t official or endorsed by Sony, chances arePC Remote Playwon’t last for long following this announcement.
Still, it’s nice that it seems to have given Sony the kick up the arse they needed to get the remote play ball rolling officially. There’s no confirmed date, nor any further information about how exactly it’ll work, but we know it’s coming now.

It’s not exactly the PC port ofDestinyI’ve wanted, but it comes close!
