Sometimes it’s hard to imagine thatNo Man’s Skycame out seven years ago! What was once the most controversial game in recent history (with accusations of false advertising thrown about) is easily now one of the best sci-fi games of the previous (or even current) generation. And now even more content is on the way.

A recent video from the guys at Hello Games acknowledges the time that has passed with a special anniversary video. It showcases all the major changes and free DLC that have been implemented over the past seven years.

Then, right at the end, a brief announcement that “ECHOES” is on the way. We don’t know what this is, other than it being some newNo Man’s Skycontent.

Sean Murray teases Twitter once more

Typically, when it comes to updates for the procedurally generated universe simulator, the studio’s own Sean Murray will tease what’s coming next.

This one is no different, but a tweet from the man himself doesn’t really clue us in. With previous updates, Murray will often upload a single emoji to his Twitter account, often alluding to what fans can expect next.

However, with “ECHOES,” all we get is some question marks, which really only adds to the mystery. Suffice it to say, fans will be excited to see whatNo Man’s Skyhas in store.

The studio may have started out on the wrong foot butNMSnow has a strong following. We don’t yet know when the next major patch is coming out, but it shows just how committed the team has been in making sure this mind-bogglingly large game just gets bigger and bigger.
