Answering calls for a game where you play as an immortal executioner and a resurrected witch, Namco Bandai has announcedKnights Contractfor the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The over-the-top action horror title sees Heinrich the executioner under control of the witch Gretchen, whose mortality is linked to the undying headman’s survival. The two work together to defeat the evil of Dr. Faust and supernatural forces that are cursing humanity with black death.
I don’t know what any of this means, and the screenshots aren’t helping matters much, to be honest. All I know is that Getchen is sporting fewer items of clothing than you’d expect a medieval witch to wear, and there’s lots of blood in these 32 screenshots. I mean, a lot of it. Splat.
Knights Contractwill probably be rated-M when it hits shelves next year.
