Monsters, followers, and more

Today’s showcasedove into many different featureson the way forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. There are new monsters, like the aforementioned Malzeno and some new variants.MH4U‘s scaly Seregios also makes an appearance. Old faces are getting some master rank versions too, to make their hunts feel brand new and even more dangerous.

Follower Quests are also coming toMonster Hunter RisethroughSunbreak, allowing players to undertake quests with NPCs. These are single-player-only missions, but you’ll be able to team up with some recognizable characters, including those both in the new kingdom and the old village. It feels a little like the Trust system fromFinal Fantasy XIV, and I’m hoping it adds a similar boost to single-player forMonster Hunter.
