Onigiriis coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across North America and Europe in early 2015, developerCyberStepconfirmed withWindows Central.
The free-to-play MMORPG draws inspiration from Japanese mythology, tasking players with slaying hordes of demonic youkai and saving the world from an ancient evil.
CyberStep releasedOnigiriin Japan this January, andplannedto put out a localization on PS4 this summer. That obviously didn’t happen, though. Just like every other game under the sun, it’s been delayed to next year. If you’re curious to check it out before then, an English version is currently available on PC and you can find the Japanese iterations on PSN and Xbox Live.
As a side note, it appears Xbox boss Phil Spencer was right.There will indeed be JRPGs on Xbox One.MMOs count, right?
