Shit’s about to get even heavier
Publisher Funcom, in association with Swedish developer The Outsidershas announceda release date forDream of the Beast, a brand new DLC expansion for its hellish shooterMetal: Hellsinger. The new expansion will be bringing new songs and weapons to the award-winning actioner on March 29.
Two new headbangin’ tracks will be included in the DLC. The first will feature the powerhouse vocals of Lacuna Coil frontwoman Cristina Scabbia, who I’vesuper-duperfancied for literaldecades, but don’t tell her I said that because I’m shy. The second track is performed by Will Ramos of New Jersey’s Lorna Shore, who I haven’t heard of, but don’t tell them I said that because I’msuper-duperold. The searing vocals of both artists will soundtrack your next trip out of the underworld.

In addition to the new songs, theMetal: HellsingerDream of the BeastDLC will also include a devastating new machine gun “The Red Right Hand”, as well as a selection of new player skins that will add new modifiers to the game. So, even if you’ve already run this unique and super-cool shooter into the ground, it seems that the new update will give you more than enough reason to bust out the devil horns once again. And it looks like the lost soul known as “The Unknown” still has a helluva lot more lead to fling in harm’s way.
