Constraints often inspire creativity!

Ludum Dare 30, the indie game jam, has officially begun! For the next 72 hours, many amateur (and professional) game developers are going to hunker down and do their best to create a game focused around a central theme. The theme for LD30 is“Connected Worlds.”What that means is up to each individual, which is largely what makes these jams so gosh darn great!

A lot of great stuff always comes from Ludum Dare, and I frankly can’t wait to see what comes out of this one. Don’t worry about former game developing experience or anything of the sort – practice is practice! Even if you don’t finish but really enjoy your idea, keep going with it! Sometimes all you need is that spark.
