Street Fighter IVis making the rounds in Japan today and a local Akihabara resident managed to snag some footage of Sagat and Balrog in action. The above video shows off Zangief fighting against Sagat. Apparently, this build of the arcade version has Sagat as being the final boss inSF IV. After beating the game, a “Thanks for playing” message appears and it’s back to the start.
This is obviously not the final build as it would be blasphemy to have anyone but M. Bison or Akuma as the final boss. Hit the jump for footage of Balrog in action.

Here we have Zangief taking on Balrog, or M. Bison for you originalists. As of now, Balrog is the fourth stage boss for this build. It also looks like Balrog still doesn’t know what a kick is either.
I got a chance to playStreet Fighter IVlast week at GDCand I have to say that I loved it. It still feels like a trueStreet Fightergame even with all the changes it has gone through.
