With the Early Access launch ofDark and Darker, it appears some players are experiencing freezing and constant rubber banding. This can be extremely frustrating, especially when this never seemed to be an issue in the earlier alpha tests. Fortunately, we have a few methods on how to fix freezing and rubber banding inDark and Darker.
How to fixDark and Darkerfreezing and rubber banding
For most players, it appears that freezing and stuttering every few seconds as well as rubber banding is mostly a networking issue. If it’s networking issues on your end, there are a few things you’re able to do to try and fix it:
Keep in mind that in most cases, networking issues are probably due to server congestion and can only be fixed by Ironmace. If you try these fixes to no avail, you may have to just wait for the servers to settle.
Other possible fixes if it’s not a networking issue
Although the freezing and stuttering typically appear when you are encountering some sort of network or connection issue, it is possible that’s not the culprit. If that’s the case, these fixes might work in terms of increasing your overall performance withDark and Darker.
All of these fixes will probably require you to restartDark and Darkerto make sure the changes load properly. Regardless, if it’s possible to fixDark and Darkerfreezing and rubber banding ton of these fixes should do the trick. If none of these work, it’s likely just some networking problems out of your control and you will need to wait for Ironmace to fix it.
