Roblox’s The Hauntis wrapping up soon, with Halloween marking the Headless Horseman’s arrival. From now until November 1, you’ll explore Axbury Manor in search of this boss and have the opportunity to gain some exclusiveThe Hauntcosmetics.
How to find the Headless Horseman during The Haunt
The Headless Horseman is a special limited-time boss exclusive toThe Haunt. When you first enter Axbury Manor, go past the costume voting area and through the backdoors until you reach the courtyard. You’ll spot a massiveHeadless Horseman fountainwith an orange portal behind it, which you’ll need to enter to participate in the fight.
Once you enter the portal, you’ll spawn into the Showdown world, where you’ll spot a path to the Headless Horseman in front of you. Follow this path, head up the hill, and run past the house to spot a massive arena. Entering this arena will spawn Horatio Axbury, also known as the Headless Horseman.
How to easily defeat the Headless Horseman
Unlike many other experiences you may or may not be familiar with, fighting Horatio Axbury doesn’t rely on casting magic spells or using powerful sword attacks to defeat him. Instead, you’ll spot several treasure chests and mannequins surrounding him. Your goal is to dress these mannequins in matching outfits to drain his health.
It’s worth noting that while you can do this solo, it’s much easier to fight him with other players. Don’t be afraid to join the Headless Horseman fight with other players or have some friends hop into the arena.
You may also encounter someone already fighting Horatio Axbury. If you approach this arena and see an orange cloudy barrier blocking access, you’ll have to wait until the ongoing Headless Horseman fight is over before joining the next.
Once someone joins, a 30-second timer will commence to let others join before the fight officially begins. As the timer reaches zero, the Headless Horseman himself will appear and immediately start throwing barrages of purple orbs at the ground, shown with green floor markers.
Now that he’s here, you’ll start seeing mannequins pop up around the arena. To drain the Headless Horseman’s health, you’ll need to open the treasure chests around the arena, pick up clothing items, and dress up mannequins in matching outfits. If you play a lot ofDress to Impress, you might become pretty good at this quickly.
You’ll find an X symbol if your clothes don’t match and a checkmark if it’s the right item. Keep doing this until you complete an outfit, rinsing and repeating until you defeat Horatio Axbury. The key to beating him is learning a mannequin’s theme, matching the clothes, and being willing to trial and error some items.
Headless Horseman boss rewards
Once you defeat the Headless Horseman, you’ll receive theEvil Pumpkin and Friendly Skeleton headaccessories. While you’re able to beat him again, you’ll only get the items once, so it’s only really worth it if you enjoy the boss fight.
