Ah, the days when the sight of a drooling malboro brought with it dread. This encounter is looking as ifFinal Fantasy XVwill recapture that worry. With the push towards realism and the large scope of the world, it needs believable encounters more than additional grinding. This looks intimidating. It seems already likeFinal Fantasy XVis treating its monsters more like local wildlife than out of place, separate screen encounters. I think that’s a good look.
Final Fantasy XVisconfirmed for 2016release (PS4, Xbox One) and we might get an even more specific date this weekend at PAX Prime in Seattle.
