After waiting at the edge of their seats all weekend, Madfinger Games finally confirmed whenGray Zone WarfareEarly Access will begin, and it’s most likely earlier than some players would have thought.

Madfinger GamesannouncedthatGray Zone WarfareEarly Access begins onApril 30. The devs previously revealedfour different editionsof the title, ranging in price from $34.99 for the Standard Edition to $99.99 for the Supporter Edition. Players can find each version on Steam, but they cannot complete a purchase until the official release date. As to what players can expect on launch day, the devs urged players to be patient with overall performance of the title.

“We are working overnight to prepare all of the servers. We do expect some hiccups, but we are at it non-stop,” Madfinger Gamessaid.

If players didn’t get a chance to participate in the original playtest,Gray Zone Warfareis a new immersive tactical FPS that challenges users to explore an island in Southeast Asia and attempt to collect valuable resources and items. AI-controlled enemies and other users will also be on the map fighting for survival.

Madfinger Games CEO Marek Rabas alsoapologizedto content creators and streamers for being unable to give out keys to test the title a week before release, but further fixing from the playtest caused a delay. It’s unclear what time the title will go live, but players can either wishlist the game on Steam to get an update or followGray Zone WarfareonTwitterfor live updates on the server status.
