Conceptually, Fat Shark’sWar of the Rosessounds promising. Team-based skirmishes using bows and swords, tiered skill trees, and player leveling — yup, this has the potential to turn out quite well.

This week at GDC, Paradox Interactive put out a trailer for the game. While it’s only pre-alpha footage for now, the setup and what’s on display here has me interested in what’s to come. As much as I appreciate the varied projects the publisher works on, I’m often not in the target niche. They’ve got me, just this once.
