Developers Messhoff have also released a new trailer depicting the game’s twitchy combat. The sequel will feature new weapons, new modes, ten all-new stages and fully customisable characters. Pre-ordering the PS4 version nets you a 15% discount.
Some fans are disappointed with the change in visual design, colour and music from the original game’s minimalist charm, which was very much part of the appeal. We shall see if these aesthetic upgrades pay off whenNidhogg 2slashes onto PC and PS4 August 15.
