The first month of 2025 will be massive forEA FC 25, as the ever-popular TOTY promo is expected to go live in Ultimate Team.
Team of the Year has always been one of the biggest promos in the Ultimate Team calendar, as it features amazing cards from the world of football. The very best performers from the world of professional football are included, and the names are decided by the community themselves. Let’s take a look at all the important dates you need to mark on your calendar.

All EA FC 25 TOTY promo dates
The TOTY promo typically begins almost one and a half weeks before the cards are added to packs. The ceremonial kickoff begins with the voting process when the nominees are released for the public to vote. The nominees are usually divided into three groups: defenders (including goalkeepers), midfielders, and attackers. Here are all the dates you would want to note on your calendar.
The nominations are expected to be revealed in the first week of January, or EA Sports could reveal the names when voting begins on January 6. Voting will be open for all, even if they don’t playEA FC 25.
Typically, January 23 will be the most important date, as the full TOTY cards will be available in packs. Odds-wise, it’s the best time to open packs if you’re desperately trying to find a Team of the Year item. It’s more than likely that EA Sports will be releasing TOTY teams from both men’s and women’s football.
It’s not clear if there will be any TOTY Honorable Mentions this time around. Typically, the Honorable Mentions include special cards for footballers who narrowly lose out on being placed in the main team. Their cards typically don’t tend to be as good as the main team, but some of them are still expected to be top-tier items (if EA decides to release them, that is).
