The Sony press conference just opened with Jack Tretton immediately addressing the recent PSN outage. An interesting move, and one that was handled with class and composure.
He didn’t say much, but what he said was, in my humble opinion, perfect. He didn’t ignore the issue, but he didn’t make a joke about it either. Apologizing to many third-parties, Tretton then addressed the consumers by saying “Without you, there is no PlayStation.”
Good job, Sony. I think you handled a very uncomfortable and looming issue perfectly.
