Dota 2keeps on chugging, as a new update has added some minor fixes, sound updates, and tournament improvements, as well as a brand new character — theElder Titan(Tauren Chieftan). He’s a character based around the concept of an Ancestral Spirit, who will mimic his movements and damage enemies he comes in contact with.
It’ll be interesting to see howDota 2fares againstLeague of Legendsin the future.LoLhas builtquite the formidable fanbaseover the past few years, butDota 2is quickly gaining popularity, andsmashing Steam records.
Either way, as a MOBA fan for nearly a decade now (wow,DotAis about ten years old, guys), I’m happy that the sub-genre has been able to thrive like this.
