Atlus have revealed a new mode that will be coming to funk-em-up titlesPersona 3: Dancing Moon NightandPersona 5: Dancing Star Night. The “Commu” mode will allow players to interact with their favourite characters to complete “mini-events.”
The Commu mode, revealed inFamitsu, appears to be the replacement forPersona 4: Dancing All Night’smaligned story mode, and will see the protagonist of each game build social links with some of the other cast members, ultimately unlocking rewards such as in-game costumes and other treats.
As well as this new mode, Atlus also released scant details on the plot for both games.Star Nightwill see the Phantom Thieves awaken in “Club Velvet,” where wardens Justine and Caroline (“IN-MATE”) are throwing a dance party, which the thieves have little choice but to partake in.Moon Night,however,features an entirely different storyline, which sees the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad gather in “Club Velvet,” where Elizabeth is throwing a dance party, which the squad have little choice but to partake in.
TheFamitsu articlealso featured some hip new screenshots, featuring Yusuke, Mitsuru, Akihiko and Morgana. But you’re too tired to look at those screenshots, and should go to bed.
