You can tackle nine gameplay modes inBleach Rebirth of Souls, divided into its Story, Offline, Online, and Tutorial sections. You can also purchase Soul Crystals, Gems, and customizables by heading to the game’s Store and check out its list of trophies, glossary, and sound and movie galleries by heading to Extras. All Bleach Rebirth of Souls Story modes, explained
As you can expect, Story houses the main campaign ofRebirth of Souls, which is divided into five chapters and covers the events from the start of the series to Ichigo and Aizen’s final confrontation at the end of the Arrancar: Downfall arc. The game’s Secret Story mode allows players to experience unique character-focused storylines that are glossed over during the main campaign.
Both the Main and Secret Story modes are extremely cutscene-heavy, even when compared to the early games in theNaruto Ultimate Ninja Stormseries. The secret stories will only become available as you complete stages and challenges in the main one.
All Offline and Tutorial modes, explained
Apart from the usual Versus mode, where players can face the CPU or each other in local play,Bleach Rebirth of Soulsalso offers a Training mode and many challenges in the form of Missions. The latter sees you take part in a series of survival-style matches, where you must defeat a sequence of opponents for a boost in Soul Points and other rewards.
Under Tutorial, players can take a crash course in the game’s basic mechanics by heading to Battle Guide, and get a deeper overview of how everything else works by heading to Challenges. I highly recommend completing all challenges as soon as possible, asRebirth of Souls‘ unique mechanics can feel overwhelming at first.
All Bleach Rebirth of Souls Online modes, explained
Although lacking a ranked one,Bleach Rebirth of Soulshas two types of online modes, Free Match and Room Match. While the former is self-explanatory and allows you to face random players, the latter allows you to create rooms to face friends or anyone willing.Rebirth of Soulsallows you to toggle whether or not you and your opponents will get access to equipped Talismans and Crystal effects in both modes. So yeah, no need to worry about that here.
