Very early intoAlan Wake 2, you’ll return to the lake, and will be required to locate a fuse for a cryptic story sequence involving the “Witch’s Hut.” Here’s where to find it!
The fuse for the Witch’s Hut (more of a shack, really) is across a small bridge directly west of the structure itself
After locating the Witch’s Hut (following the sequence where you follow Nightengale’s footprints), you’ll need to find the fuse box. It’s located on the left side of the building if you’re outside, facing the entryway door. Interact with it. The game will ask you to find a fuse “in the immediate area,” and thankfully, that clue is fairly sound!
If you’re facing the fuse box, turn around completely and run across that bridge in front of you. Veer left and grab a fuse from the blue box in the little alcove (there is a fuse that’s technically closer near the bridge, but it’s blown and not usable). That’s the one fuse you need.
Go back over the bridge and insert the fuse (noResident Evil-like puzzle needed!) to continue the current objective and advance the story. It’s that simple! Given how dark the area is at this current point in time though, it’s very easy to get turned around in the woods.
