Last week developerWolcen Studio announced codenamedProject Pantheon, the studio’s next title. I recently sat down with members of the development team to get a very early look atProject Pantheon, as well as to hear more about the ambitious future for the title and how Wolcen Studio plans to get it there. At its core,Project Pantheonmashes together two popular genres: Action RPG and PvPvE Extraction. Or, as the team liked to put it, ExtrAction RPG....

Shirt, hat, and amiibo Over at their official UK store, Nintendo unveiled a new bundle forStar Fox Zero, which is still on track for an April 22 worldwide release. It actually looks kind of neat, with two amiibo (Fox and Falco), a hat, and a shirt. Since it’s a “first print edition,”Zeroand the accompanyingGuardgame will be available on two separate discs, with a SteelBook case to boot. It seems like there may be a collector’s angle here....

Red, White and Bo Namco Bandai have announced a new mobileTekkentitle, which brings The King of Iron Fist Tournament to small screens worldwide. This is fighting game franchise’s first foray into the phone market since 2013’sTekken Card Tournament. The imaginatively-titledTekken Mobileis already available in a selection of territories, including Africa, Eastern Europe and South America. It will expand to the rest of Europe, the UK, Russia and Singapore on February 15, before finally landing in North America, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea on March 1....

Weird creatures Being a Japanese trade show, there are plenty of mascots running around the Tokyo Game Show floor this week. We’ve put together a photo gallery of some of the better ones from today, the first business show day. Several are in full-body animal/creature suits, which requires handlers to guide them around the busy show floor. Others are stationary, in costume, ready to pose for any camera. There are also a few inanimate objects as mascots at the show....
