The Iconoclasts blasts your ass with sass brass and class

It takes a lot of sass and brass to produce a classic “retail length”, beautifully animated, pixel-based action/platformer/RPG on your own. To put it bluntly, most human beings just don’t have what it takes to make a game like this by themselves....

The winner of Destructoid’s best 2013 co-op multiplayer

Best of 2013 Sometimes, there is nothing better than getting together with friends, online or in person, and working together toward a single goal. Of course, as time has passed, more games have added cooperative multiplayer to their lists of features, and it often feels tacked on or unnecessary. The best co-op experiences are thoughtfully designed to enhance gameplay with more players, and in the best cases, they are the only true way to play a particular game....

Titanfall on PC gets Capture the Flag mode back

After it was removed entirely Amdist the launch ofTitanfall‘snewDLC maps, there’s a new matchmaking update afoot for the PC and Xbox One versions. Evidently “less than 1%” of players were using the Capture the Flag gametype on PC, so Respawn took it out entirely — until late last week, when fan demand brought it back. Since the game is online-only, that basically meant that there was no way to play CTF outside of private matches or the Variety list, and it was effectively deleted from the main way to play the game....
